Carriers sometimes charge a surcharge, such as a fuel surcharge, a peak surcharge in November and December or a surcharge for remote areas like the Wadden Islands. We don’t hide them in the small print: you see them upfront in your offer and back on your invoice. So you always know where you stand.

How much does it cost to ship wine?
With Vinologix you ship a parcel of wine within the Netherlands from €5.97, insured up to €520. Whether you send one bottle or a box of 12: the price applies to every parcel up to 20 kg and goes down as you ship more parcels per year. To Belgium you ship wine from €8.85.
How can I ship wine safely?
Shipping wine safely starts with the packaging. In our bottle shipping boxes every bottle sits firmly in an insert, so it can’t move or knock against another bottle. Ship with DPD in our boxes and your parcel is insured up to €520 and the recipient signs on delivery. That way you ship wine without breakage or worries.
What are bottle shipping boxes?
Bottle shipping boxes are made specifically to ship bottles safely. Our patented inserts hold every bottle in place, from a single bottle to a magnum. You order our bottle shipping boxes in the webshop from €1.77. You also need them for the included insurance.
Why aren’t all rates on the site?
Your rate depends on what you ship: how many parcels per year, to which countries and which extra services you need. We’d rather work that out with you, so you know exactly where you stand.
Are there setup costs or a minimum volume?
No. There are no setup costs and no minimum number of parcels. With Start you don’t pay a subscription either.
What if I ship more than my plan allows?
Then you pay €0.15 per extra label. If you regularly ship more, we’ll move you to a plan that fits better.
Can I cancel or switch?
Yes, every plan can be cancelled monthly and you can switch at any time.
Can I ship with my own carrier contract?
Yes, with Pro and Custom you can connect your own contract to VLX Flow.
